Задание:

Following the structure of the given notes write two notes on the given situations:
A. Write a note to your teacher explaining that you are unable attend classes this week as you
have to go to another city to take part in an important tennis tournament. Ask your teacher for
details of the classwork and homework you will miss so that you can do some schoolwork
while you are away.
Write your note in 50 words.
B. You are going to be on holiday for a week and a friend has agreed to look after your flat while
you are away. Write a message explaining what your friend should check and do in your flat
and thank him/her for the help.
Write your message in 70 words.
In your writing pay attention on the use of dependent prepositions.
Assessment guidelines:
Teacher walks around the classroom and observeslearners as they work to check for writing. She/hencan use a checklist with the following criteria:

I would like to inform you about missing some classes because of tennis tournament. I won’t be at
school from January 21 until January 31. If you don’t mind will you assign me some class and

I am leaving my place for a week to have a rest in Almaty. I want to ask you to look after my flat
when I am away. You can water flowers once a week and feed my cat three times a day. Cat’s
