Making connections in biology

Задание:

Conduct an interview between a correspondent and a scientist about a human body structure
Step 1 — A group is divided into two parts: correspondents and scientists. A correspondent creates
three research questions about the structure of a human body.
Possible Human Body questions:
1. What is the name of the biggest part of the human brain?
2. What is the name of the substance that gives skin and hair its pigment?
3. What substance are nails made of?
4. What is the human body’s biggest organ?
5. How many lungs does the human body have?
6. Your tongue is home to special structures that allow you to experience tastes such as sour,
sweet, bitter and salty, what is their name?
7. The shape of DNA is known as?
8. How do extreme situations influence our body?
9. How do people recognize the heart attack?
10. Why should humans control their feelings? Give examples from your own experience.
11. Can you provide first aid to a person in need?
12. Have you ever had such an experience? When and where?
Step 2 -Correspondents go along the classroom asking the scientists their questions and fixing their
answers in the special worksheets.
Step 3 -Learners work in pairs (a correspondent and a scientist), analyze the answers (they can
arrange information in graphs) and presents it to the class.
