Задание:

Write an introduction to the question:
To what extent the use of animals in scientific research is acceptable?
Include: an opening sentence that is not too general, a well-articulated thesis, evidence to support
your argument, and definite language (a summary of evidence that will be introduced to support the
thesis). Produce outline for the question.
Opinion essay should have three sentences and these three sentences should be:
1. Paraphrase question
2. Thes is statement
3. Outline statement

Criteria for self-assessment
The introduction to your essay needs to contain the following elements:
 a sentence or two introducing your topic
 a clearly written thesis statement: relevant qualification, your position or claim, reasonable
rationale for your stance
 a brief summary of evidence that you are going to use to support your argument.

Решение:

It is believed that animal experiments are necessary in order to ensure the safety of human-consumed products, cosmetics and household chemicals, to develop new methods of treating diseases. In fact, animal experiments are completely unsuitable for these purposes, because they do not allow us to assess whether the use of certain substances by humans is dangerous. More and more scientists, politicians and ordinary citizens are realizing that experiments on animals do not justify the expectations placed on them, and that the results of such experiments cannot be transferred to humans unconditionally.

1. Firstly, experiments on 100% will not help to use this or that product.
2. Secondly, I consider it bullying of animals for personal purposes.
3. Thirdly, it will not lead to anything good.
