The image of the corporation in the public consciousness is mysteriously twofold: on the one hand, there are good prospects for rapid career growth «with the right attitude», on the other — «a rat house where a subtle nature cannot survive». There is no logical contradiction here, but a complex complex of emotions inevitably arises. Let’s try to figure it out.
An example of an ideal company — the dream of a modern manager — is a well-known and large multinational or Russian corporation. The HEADHUNTER research data tells about why domestic managers choose large companies::Magazine «Dissemination of corporate values in the expert management environment». More than half of the experts surveyed (managers and free agents of Russian firms) believe that working in a corporation, specialists get the opportunity to use its name and brand as their own reputational reserve. In second place among the advantages of working in a large company, according to almost 40% of respondents, is the stability of earnings. Finally, just over 17% hope for «predictable career growth.» And as the main drawbacks, the attempts of the management to completely subordinate the personality of the employee to the interests of the office are noted. Thus, approximately an equal number of respondents (40% each) are dissatisfied with «zombification» (cultivating a strong attachment to the corporation) and the lack of the ability to independently plan a work schedule.
